Announcements:
Before I decided to be baptized.
I made a commitment to Heavenly Father and to myself that I would serve the mission. My testimony is built strongly on the
power of missionary work. I testify that it is indeed presided over by the first missionary companions - Heavenly Father and
Jesus Christ.
Aside from my testimony,
the second armor I consider to be my strength in the Royal Army is my father's blessing. My first mission started in converting
my father. With all hopes, I waited for him. Two years have passed and it didn't happen. The Lord has His own time and in
his season, I know my father will be baptized.
Leaving all behind
to the Lord, I worked on my application. In my prayers, I honestly asked Heavenly Father for Mindanao… Never did it
appear in my thought the vision of Bacolod. In just two weeks, my mission call came. My family was the first one to read it.
My mother cried. She is from Isabela and since she got married at twenty, she hasn't heard from her relatives, even from her
brothers and sisters. In two weeks time, I will be in the MTC. After 19 days, I would be setting my foot in the land where
my lineage rooted.
I am so grateful. It
is wisdom in God why I would be in Bacolod. He has given me more than what I am asking for.
To all my brothers and
sisters there, I am so excited to see you. I would be happy to receive emails from anyone. Please help me prepare with my
mission. I would like to learn the language soon. My address
zionasia_roque@rediffmail.com.
Thank you and God bless.
in
faith,
Sister Roque
